Hi, I'm Betsy

I am an accredited ICF coach, specializing in helping those who work in challenging situations. I am passionate about bringing wellness to the workplace. I currently live in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh serving the Rohingya Refugee Response.

My career began in Human Resources. For over 20 years, I worked as an HR professional for large organizations in the United States, always with a focus on people being people, not a human “resource”.

My entrepreneurial spirit kicked in and I became a yoga teacher and opened the cutest yoga studio in a beautiful old blue house on the coast of North Carolina.

In 2018, I moved to Bangladesh where I used my HR skills in a challenging humanitarian crisis context. I created custom well-being programs for the World Food Programme, coached numerous humanitarian workers, and facilitated workshops.

All of these opportunities have brought me immense joy.

My Goal is Simple:

As a fellow humanitarian, my personal journey of overcoming burnout has shaped my coaching style. I am an empathetic and active listener equipped with a range of effective tools and techniques to navigate this pressing issue. Together we can overcome burnout and embrace a future filled with vitality and purpose.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with amazing organizations such as The World Food Programme, Food for the Hungry, Danish Refugee Council, People in Need, King & Spalding, and Libraries without Borders.
