A Combined Process

ICF professional coaching and functional movement, together. For people whose pressure lives in both the mind and the body, and who are ready to work on both at once.

Betsy is preparing for an integrated coaching session.

Why mind and body, together

Most coaching only works one layer. You talk through a decision, get clarity, and leave the session with a plan. But the tension in your shoulders is still there. The shallow breathing is still there. The exhaustion your body is carrying doesn’t go away just because your mind found an answer.

Integrated Coaching works both at once. We use ICF professional coaching for the decisions, the weight, and the way forward. With my E-RYT 500 yoga training, we will use functional movement for where the stress actually settles in your body.

Neither one alone is the full picture for people doing this kind of work.

This is a 1:1 partnership. Not a quick fix, and not two separate services bundled together. One engagement, built around you.

How we can work together

One offer, both disciplines, over three months. A single engagement, not sessions booked one at a time, and not two services running side by side.

Every engagement runs three months. Within that, we meet weekly or every other week, because I know you don’t always have a spare hour every single week – and this program is built around that, not in spite of it.

Coaching weeks work the decisions, the weight, the patterns that keep surfacing. Movement weeks work where that pressure settled in the body. Email support in between, so nothing stalls when a session ends.

Three months, because this kind of exhaustion doesn’t unwind in a session or two, and it doesn’t unwind in the mind alone. Keeping both disciplines in rotation means you’re never solving the decision while ignoring what your body’s holding, or loosening the tension without touching what put it there.

It’s built for someone carrying both at once – the responsibility and the physical toll – who already knows that talking alone, or resting alone, doesn’t get them anywhere.

What it costs and how we shape it is a conversation, not a checkout.

How sessions are structured

Coaching sessions

Focused on the decisions you’re carrying, the way forward, and the patterns that keep showing up. Forward focused and structured. This is where we work through what’s actually happening in your role, your leadership, or your life.

Movement sessions

Practical, accessible functional movement built around your body, not a class format. We work with breath, mobility, and tension. This is where the stress that coaching surfaces actually gets released.

Most clients alternate between the two, with sessions scheduled around what’s coming up. Some weeks lean more on coaching. Some weeks the body needs more attention. We adjust as we go.

Who this is for

Humanitarians managing the particular weight of crisis work. Expats and cross cultural leaders carrying professional pressure while personally adapting to unfamiliar ground. High performing professionals who know that talking through a problem isn’t enough when their body is still holding the stress.

If you’ve tried coaching alone and felt like something was still missing, or tried movement work alone and found it didn’t touch the actual decisions you’re facing, this is built for that gap.

Bring me the real question. I'll bring the space to work it out.

A free 30-minute discovery call. No pitch. We talk about what you’re navigating, you ask whatever you want, and we both decide whether continuing makes sense.
