Stress doesn't just live in your head.
1:1 functional movement for humanitarians and professionals in stressful situations. I offer practical, accessible suggestions for your body because that’s where this kind of exhaustion actually lands.

This isn't yoga class. It's movement that works for your life.
Functional movement is about how your body actually operates under pressure.
Maybe it’s the tightness you carry in your shoulders through a crisis, the way your breathing changes when the work is hard, the chronic tension that builds when you don’t have time to stop.
As an E-RYT 500, I work with movement the way I work with coaching: practically and without performance.
No flexibility required. No particular fitness level. No pretending it’s a retreat when you’ve got a full schedule waiting.
Sessions are 1:1, virtual, and designed around what your body actually needs — not a generic class format.
Who I work with
Humanitarians and aid workers
Carrying sustained physical stress. It could be bad sleep, constant travel, field conditions, the physical toll of emotional labor.
Movement that meets you where you are, not where a studio assumes you are.
Desk-bound professionals under pressure
Is your body holding tension that you don’t have time to address?
I’ll share practical tools you can actually use, not a 90-minute class that doesn’t fit your schedule.
Anyone who's tried yoga and found it wasn't for them
Touching your toes is not mandatory!
Functional movement isn’t about flexibility or spirituality. It’s about how you breathe, how you hold yourself, and how your body recovers from demanding work.
What to expect
Sessions are 60 minutes, 1:1, virtual or in-person. We work with breath, mobility, and functional strength.
I start where you are. If you’re stiff, tired, or haven’t moved intentionally in months, that’s fine!
That’s exactly where this starts.
The goal isn’t performance. It’s sustainable function: being able to operate well in a body that isn’t constantly fighting you.
Most clients work with me weekly or bi-weekly.
Some combine movement sessions with coaching as part of Integrated Coaching, working with mind and body together.
Some come just for the movement work, and a bit of laughter, well, actually a lot of laughter.
What My Clients Say
The Fleet Wellbeing module helped the drivers by allowing them to share their thoughts and ideas in a safe space. As managers we were not involved in the sessions, and I noticed a change in their mindset after the sessions – they were actually happier.
These sessions improved their communication skills and reduced their stress. It’s important to have calm and happy drivers to ensure the safety of our team and of others.
Betsy provided a yoga class for a team building exercise for our office and we had a great time! We laughed and took Betsy’s expert advice. The way Betsy teaches is encouraging and with her help yoga is for everyone!
Bring me the real question. I'll bring the space to work it out.
A free 30-minute discovery call. No pitch. We talk about what you’re navigating, you ask whatever you want, and we both decide whether continuing makes sense.
